Christine Conelea, PhD
MnTiC Lab Director
Dr. Conelea serves as the Principal Investigator (PI) for the MnTiC Lab including TicTech and other studies focused on Tourette Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She's excited about using technology and community engagement to improve diagnosis, treatment, and accessibility to services for people with these conditions. Christine enjoys braving the wilderness, learning how to be a drummer, playing NYT word games, and hanging out with her objectively cool kids.
Carolyn Hunt
Community Engagement and PAB Leader
I hold a Master’s degree in Public Administration and have extensive experience in and passion for community-engaged research. Early in my career, I worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where I completed health research management training and supported community-research collaborations. I worked at the University of California, San Francisco for sixteen years, as a study manager at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies (CAPS) and at the Community Engagement Core, coordinating the Community Advisory Board (CAB) and linking researchers and community members. As the Community Engagement Director for PRIDEnet. I built in-person and digital LGBTQ+ community engagement activities for national health research projects, including The PRIDE Study and the NIH’s All of Us Research Program. I’m thrilled to help build lots of creative ways to involve and serve tic communities at MnTiC!
Sarah Hodapp
MnTiC Lab Manager
Sarah oversees the operations for all of the MnTiC Lab's studies, including TicTech. She excited about being part of such a dynamic team and working closely with all of the community advisors and organizations to improve the lives of individuals living with tics. Sarah enjoys being active outdoors with family and friends and all things music!
Mayella Brinker
Research Coordinator
Mayella focuses on everything to do with communications, including the newsletter, social media and more! She's excited about the potential for increased accessibility for participating in TicTech. Mayella recently graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and enjoys painting, baking cakes, and playing every team sport she can find!
